No, you do not need a referral to see a clinical psychologist. You can book an appointment directly with me.
However, if you want to claim Medicare rebates under the Better Access scheme, a referral from your GP is required.

Consultation fee: 310 AUD per session, in line with the current Australian Psychology Society (APS) National Schedule.
Medicare Rebate: A rebate of 145 AUD per session is available for patients with a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) for up to 10 sessions per year.
MHCP submission: Your MHCP can be sent directly from your GP via Medical Objects, or brought to your your first session, or emailed/faxed to me.

Yes, I offer telehealth sessions via a secure online platform.
Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive a private email containing a secure link and access code for your consultation.

A standard consultation is 50 to 60 minutes.
Extended sessions can be offered if relevant.

No, unlike General Practitioner or Psychiatrist, I cannot prescribe you any medication.
But I will work closely with your medical team and other health professionals if needed.
